About Me: My name is Amanda Avila. I have been working with Sycamore Academy for 15 years now. I grew up in Chino and was thrilled when I learned that Sycamore was opening a second location in my hometown. After graduating from Don Lugo High School, I moved to San Rafael, CA. I attended Dominican University, where I graduated with a BA in Liberal Studies and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.
I have three handsome sons who both keep me busy. Nixon is going to turn 6 years old in October. He will be in Kindergarten here at Sycamore! Braxton will be turning 3 years old in December and will be starting preschool soon. Jaxon is my last baby. He was born on tax day and is almost 4 months old. He is started to babble a ton and learning how to roll over!
I am so excited to be teaching 2nd grade this year!
