About Me: My name is Amanda Avila. I have been working with Sycamore Academy for 13 years now. I grew up in Chino and was thrilled when I learned that Sycamore was opening a second location in my hometown. After graduating from Don Lugo High School, I moved to San Rafael, CA. I attended Dominican University, where I graduated with a BA in Liberal Studies and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.
I have two handsome sons who both keep me busy. Nixon is going to turn 4 years old in October. He just started preschool and is loving it! Braxton is my baby and was born on December 23, almost a Christmas baby! Braxton is starting to crawl and getting into everything.
I am so excited to be teaching 2nd grade this year!
